Beta Duration
The beta program officially ends July 19, 2018 and beta licenses expire October 11, 2018. Participants will be asked to complete a survey regarding their experience with the beta software. The survey will be sent in early May or several weeks after you register for the beta, whichever comes later.
Special Features
Intel® MPI Library Architecture Update: The Intel MPI Library has been updated to a new architecture based on CH4. All internode communications will now use OFI (libfabrics). Hydra has been updated to improve startup times for larger jobs. Multi-endpoint communications are now enabled, allowing multi-threaded MPI applications to effectively call MPI communication functions from all threads using unique communicators.
Persistence Inspector, a run-time tool of Intel® Inspector for developers to detect programming errors in persistent memory programs, including:
- Cache flush misses
- Redundant cache flushes and memory fences
- Out-of-order persistent memory stores
- Incorrect undo logging for PMDK (Persistent Memory Development Kit, formerly NVML)
Known Issues
Known issues that need broad communication will be added to this section as they are found.
